Sing Praise

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. What comes out of your mouth or doesn’t for the most part?

Primary Text: Psalm 105v2
“Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; meditate on and talk of all His marvelous deeds and devoutly praise them” Psalm 105v2 (AMP)

We are encouraged to do certain things here in Psalm 105v2. One is to sing to God, to sing praises to God. It doesn’t say where or when, neither does it say only in Church or when it is time for “praise and worship.” Remember the Psalmist saying - “I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth” (Psalm 34v1). It is easy to praise God when we get a “testimony.” The fact remains however that God is good (Psalm 106v1) - even when the testimony is not yet materialized in the physical. That’s why the Bible can tell us to count it all joy when we fall into diverse temptations (James 1v2). “Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto you God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely” (Psalm 147v1). Usually you enjoy singing in Church. You can start your own praise party all the time, remembering that God inhabits the praises of Israel (Psalm 22v3). Imagine if you had a friend, and all they did was complain, grumble, never thanked you for what you did for them, or encouraged you that they were proud of you. Now imagine how God feels about what you say or don’t say.

Supplementary Text:
“Let the godly sing for joy to the LORD; it is fitting for the pure to praise Him.” Psalm 33v1 (NLT)

“My mouth shall be filled with Your praise and with Your honor all the day.” Psalm 71v8 (AMP)

Prayer
Father, we bless You, we honor You, we adore You, we praise You, You are worthy. Thank You for inhabiting the praises of Israel. We pray, that You will give us a garment of praise, instead of the spirit of heaviness, and that our lips will be filled with Your praise and Your honor all the day long, for as long as we live, in Jesus name, amen. May we be found worthy to praise You for all eternity in Jesus name, amen.
