Seek His Face Evermore
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Most of us are familiar with the song – This is the air I breathe, Your holy presence, living in me. This is my daily bread, Your very Word, spoken to me. And I am desperate for You. And I am lost without You. The Bible says:
Primary Text: Psalm 105v4
“Seek the LORD, and His strength: seek His face evermore.” Psalm 105v4 (KJV)
“You have said, Seek My face [inquire for and require My presence as your vital need]. My heart says to You, Your face (Your presence), Lord, will I seek, inquire for, and require [of necessity and on the authority of Your Word].” Psalm 27v8 (AMP). The presence of the Lord. In His presence is fullness of joy, at His right hand there are pleasures evermore (Psalm 16v11). What a wonderful thing to always be in His presence, to seek His audience forever. Imagine not having the Lord’s presence, not having access to His throne of grace, what a terrible thing that would be. But the wonderful thing is that if we draw nigh to Him, He draws nigh to us (James 4v8). We can never get to know Him enough. In His presence, everything is brighter. Nothing compares to knowing Him. Do you know Him today? Why not seek a closer walk with Him – now and evermore.
Supplementary Text:
“The one thing I ask of the LORD – the thing I seek most – is to live in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, delighting in the LORD’s perfections and meditating in His Temple. For He will conceal me there when troubles come; He will hide me in His sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock. Then I will hold my head high above my enemies who surround me. At His sanctuary I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy, singing and praising the LORD with music.” Psalm 27v4-6 (NLT)
Prayer
Father, we thank You so much for Your Word. Father, we pray for the grace to seek Your face forever. We ask for Your presence to always be with us, in Jesus name, amen.

And perhaps you do not even know Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour, and you want to have a relationship with Him. The Bible says:
“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” Romans 10v9-10
You can say this prayer: Heavenly Father, I come to You today, confessing that I am a sinner. I am sorry for all that I have done and ask that You forgive me for all of my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Lord Jesus, I ask that You be Lord and Saviour over my life. I believe that You came to die for my sins, and that God raised You from the dead. Thank You Father for translating me out of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Your dear Son. Thank You for sealing me with Your Holy Spirit of promise. Please keep me till the end in You, and may Your Name alone be glorified in my life, in Jesus name I pray, amen.
If you said this prayer today, know that you are now a child of God and that there is much jubilation in heaven because of you. Begin to attend a Bible-believing church, and keep the faith! Welcome into God’s family.
