Be Still
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Our God is great and greatly to be praised. He is faithful. The Bible tells us:
Primary Text: Psalm 37v7-8
“Be still and rest in the Lord; wait for Him and patiently lean yourself upon Him; fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger and forsake wrath; fret not yourself -- it tends only to evildoing.” Psalm 37v7-8 (KJV)

“Be still and rest in the Lord. Wait for Him and patiently lean yourself upon Him.” But this person is doing this, and that person is doing that – “fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way.” Beloved, we serve a living God who loves and cares for us. He has asked that we cast our cares unto Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5v7).

Therefore will they who pursue you be swift, [so swift that] One thousand of you will flee at the threat of one of them; at the threat of five you will flee till you are left like a beacon or a flagpole on the top of a mountain, and like a signal on a hill. “And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.” Exodus 14v13 (KJV)
“For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.” Proverbs 23v18 (KJV)
Prayer
Father, we thank You so much for this day. We thank You because we can rest in You, and look to You and depend on You. Truly You are God. Thank You for waiting for us to be gracious to us. Blessed be Your holy name forevermore, in Jesus name, amen.
