His Marvelous Deeds

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text: Psalm 105v2
“Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; meditate on and talk of all His marvelous deeds and devoutly praise them.” Psalm 105v2 (AMP)

Some of us are familiar with the hymn, – “Count your blessings, name them one by one, count your blessings see what God has done, count your blessings, name them one by one, and it will surprise you what the Lord has done…” Amen. Psalm 103v2 (NLT) says “Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things He does for me.” God does so many good things for us, but sometimes in anticipation of what we do not yet have, or the present situations we are experiencing, we tend to forget. It is easy to look at the Israelites when they were going through the wilderness experience and think, wow, how they forget so quickly. But in our own lives are we quick to remember? Let’s recall the good things God does for us, and also share it with others. It will encourage us, help us to appreciate God and can serve as an encouragement to others as well.

Supplementary Text:
“The works of the Lord are great, sought out by all those who have delight in them. His work is honorable and glorious, and His righteousness endures forever. He had made His wonderful works to be remembered; the Lord is gracious, merciful, and full of loving compassion.” Psalm 105v2-4 (AMP)

“We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the LORD, about His power and His mighty wonders. For He issued His laws to Jacob; He gave His instructions to Israel. He commanded our ancestors to teach them to their children, so the next generation might know them – even the children not yet born – and they in turn will teach their own children. So each generation should set its hope anew on God, not forgetting His glorious miracles and obeying His commands. Then they will not be like their ancestors – stubborn, rebellious, and unfaithful, refusing to give their hearts to God.” Psalm 78v4-8 (NLT)

Prayer
Father, I thank You for all that You have done and continue to do. I praise and adore You, in Jesus name, amen.
