Ye are Christ’s (2)!

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text

“And ye are Christ’s;…” 1 Corinthians 3v23 (KJV)

“and you belong to Christ, …” 1 Corinthians 3v23 (NLT)

“and you are privileged to be in union with Christ,…” 1 Corinthians 3v23 (MSG)

A song I know in my native language, is translated – “You are all I have in heaven and earth, You are all I have, … Jesus, You are all I have.” If not for Jesus, where would we be? If not for the Almighty, where would we be. Thank God we belong to Christ. Hebrews 13v8 (AMP) says that “Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is [always] the same, yesterday, today, [yes] and forever (to the ages).” Thank God for this. Imagine if you belonged to someone who changed every day – you are never sure where you stand with them. But Jesus is not like that – He is our Shepherd, and we belong to Him. And for as many as accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour, and belong to Him, we are given the Spirit of God to dwell in us. Romans 8v9 (NLT) saying “… (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to Him at all).” Hallelujah. And there are so many blessings that accrue to belonging to Christ:-

Prayer

Father, we thank You. Thank You that we belong to Jesus and He is a Good Shepherd. Thank You so much o God. Thank You Lord Jesus. Thank You Spirit of God, in Jesus name we pray, amen.
