God’s temple
Hello
everyone,
How
are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for
He is good and His mercies endureth forever. And beloved, God is with you, He
is for you, and He loves you.
Primary Text
“Know
ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in
you?” 1 Corinthians 3v16 (KJV)
“Don’t
you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit
of God lives in you?” 1 Corinthians 3v16 (NLT)
“Do
you not discern and understand that you [the whole church at Corinth] are God’s
temple (His sanctuary), and that God’s Spirit has His permanent dwelling in you
[to be at home in you, collectively as a church and also individually]?” 1
Corinthians 3v16 (AMP)
The
church of God, the individuals that make it up, and the body as a whole are the
temple of God. Hallelujah. You beloved, as a child of God are the temple of
God. And being the temple of God, the Spirit of God dwells on the inside of
you. Hallelujah. You are a carrier of the presence, and the glory of God. 1
John 4v13-15 (KJV) tells us “Hereby know we that we dwell in Him, and He in us,
because He hath given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that
the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess
that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.” Child of
God, church of God, we are the temple of God, and the Spirit of God dwells on
the inside of us. God is faithful. May He continue to build His church, and may
the gates of hell never prevail against it in Jesus name, amen.
Supplementary Text
“A
time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine)
worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the
Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshipers. God is a Spirit
(a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in
truth (reality).” John 4v23-24 (AMP)
Prayer
