Are you faithful?

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text
“Moreover, it is [essentially] required of stewards that a man should be found faithful [proving himself worthy of trust].” 1 Corinthians 4v2 (AMP)

Are you faithful in the things that are put into your hands? Are you a faithful spouse, parent, worker, boss, friend, child? Can God trust you with the true riches? Luke 16v10-11 (NLT) says ““If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities. And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven?” Perhaps you are looking for that big position or responsibility. But are you faithful where you are right now? Joseph went from his father’s house, to Potiphar’s house, to prison, to the palace. God was with him in each of these places. As he moved from place to place, his responsibilities also increased. The circumstances and environment were not necessarily pleasant in his journey to becoming 2nd in command in Egypt, but he was faithful in each place that he was. What is your attitude towards work, your spouse, children, friends, ministry, parents, elders, authority, instruction, body, finances? Are you complaining and grumbling that you would be better if only this and that were in place? Are you a problem seeker or a solution provider? Ecclesiastes 12v13-14 (MSG) says “The last and final word is this: Fear God. Do what He tells you. And that’s it. Eventually God will bring everything that we do out into the open and judge it according to its hidden intent, whether it’s good or evil.”

Supplementary Text
“The Lord answered, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns. Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. But suppose the servant says to himself, ‘My master is taking a long time in coming,’ and he then begins to beat the other servants, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk. The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers. “The servant who knows the master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows. But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.” Luke 12v42-48 (NIV)

Prayer
Father, I thank You for Your Word this day. I ask for mercy and forgiveness in everyway I have been unfaithful with the things You have given to me. Please grant me the grace to be faithful in every thing that is in my care, whether little or big in Jesus name, amen.
