No boasting

Primary Text

“Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are your’s;” 1 Corinthians 3v21 (KJV)

“So then, no more boasting about human leaders! All things are yours,” 1 Corinthians 3v21 (NIV)

“So don’t boast about following a particular human leader. For everything belongs to you – “ 1 Corinthians 3v21 (NLT)

“So let no one exult proudly concerning men [boasting of having this or that man as a leader], for all things are yours,” 1 Corinthians 3v21 (AMP)

“I don’t want to hear any of you bragging about yourself or anyone else. Everything is already yours as a gift -” 1 Corinthians 3v21 (MSG)

The apostle Paul continues his letter to the church in Corinth telling them not to boast about human leaders anymore. Child of God - are you involved in boasting about human leaders and exalting one leader over the other? Please stop. Ministers are servants of the Lord whom the Lord has given tasks to (1 Corinthians 3v5), and when you are jealous and quarrel in this way saying I follow this person or that person, you are acting unspiritual and worldly! (1 Corinthians 3v3-4). Paul says, all things are yours – “Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are your’s; And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.” (1 Corinthians 3v22-23). Amen.

Father, we thank You for Your ministers all over the world. We pray that You continue to give them the grace to do all of Your will, all of the time in Jesus name, amen.
