Spirit inspired words

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” 1 Corinthians 2v12-13 (KJV)

The Spirit of God can give the believer the right word to speak in each season. There are spiritual things that only Spirit inspired words can address, that only the Word that God speaks can address.  How else would you speak a word to the sick and they are healed, to the oppressed and they are set free, to the lonely and they are comforted. It is by the power and the Spirit of God. Luke 4v14-21 (KJV) says “And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.” Jesus told His disciples to wait for the Holy Spirit and then they will receive power to be His witnesses. We need the Holy Spirit of God.

Prayer

Father we thank You for Your Spirit. We pray for a fresh anointing and filling of the Spirit, to execute judgment on the wicked, speak a word in season to the needy and words of grace for every situation in Jesus name, amen.
