Strengthen me O Lord (2)
Hello
everyone,
How
are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.
Primary Text
“Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not
faint or grow weary; there is no searching of His understanding. He gives power
to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases
strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound].
Even youths shall faint and be weary, and [selected] young
men shall feebly stumble and fall exhausted; But those who wait for the
Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew
their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount
up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be
weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.”
Isaiah 40v28-31 (AMP)
It
is not strange for men to faint or fail or become weak and lose strength. The
daily stresses of life can do that to you. In the verses above, it is stated
categorically as such. But the question to you child of God is who is your
strength? Who is the source of your strength? As a child of God, we have a
source of strength who never faints or grows weary. Psalm 138v3 (TLB) says “As
soon as I pray, You answer me; you encourage me by giving me strength.” Call
unto Him for strength. It is amazing the difference it would make. A prayer of
Lord, I need Your strength, strength in my spirit, my soul, my body. Strength
for this minute, this hour, this project, this relationship, this marriage,
this child, this job …
Prayer
Why
don’t you cry out to God for the much needed strength.
