The words to speak
Hello
everyone,
How
are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.
Primary Text
“Now
we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God;
that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things
also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy
Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” 1 Corinthians
2v12-13 (KJV)
The
Holy Spirit not only provides illumination into the things of God, He also
gives the words that can be used to explain these mysteries. We know that the
sword of the Spirit is the Word of God (Ephesians 6), and Hebrews 4v12 (AMP)
tells us “For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it
active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged
sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the
immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our
nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and
purposes of the heart.” The Holy Spirit is able to give you the right words to
comfort the sad, lonely, depressed, desolate; to execute judgment for the
oppressed; to help you pray; to preach the gospel. When the Lord was sending
Moses to go to Pharoah to tell him to let His people go, Exodus 4v10-12 (KJV)
says “And Moses said unto the LORD, O my LORD, I am not eloquent, neither
heretofore, nor since Thou hast spoken unto Thy servant: but I am slow of
speech, and of a slow tongue. And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man’s
mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have I not
the LORD? Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what
thou shalt say.” Is the LORD sending you to someone, people? Do you have to
make a presentation, speak to your boss, write a paper? Don’t fear - ask the
Lord for the words to speak or to write?
Prayer
Father,
I thank You for You are the Almighty. Father please be with my mouth and teach
me what to say in (whatever it is) situation, to the glory of Your name, in
Jesus name, amen.
