Spiritual Revelations
Hello everyone,
How are you doing
on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.
Primary Text
“But the great men of the world have not
understood it; if they had, they never would have crucified the Lord of Glory.
That is what is meant by the Scriptures which say that no mere man has ever
seen, heard, or even imagined what wonderful things God has ready for those who
love the Lord. But we know about these things because God has sent His Spirit
to tell us, and His Spirit searches out and shows us all of God’s deepest
secrets.” 1 Corinthians 2v8-10 (TLB)
“None
of the rulers of this age or world perceived and recognized and
understood this, for if they had, they would never have crucified the Lord of
glory. But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has
not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all
that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold
Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing
the benefits He has bestowed]. Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed
them by and through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches
diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the
profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden
and beyond man’s scrutiny].” 1 Corinthians 2v8-10 (AMP)
Indeed there are
deep and secret things that God knows and are hidden from man. Some of these He
chooses to reveal to us. We as believers stand in a very privileged position as
God has given us His Spirit to guide us into all truth (John 16v13). As we see
in the verses above, God has given us His Spirit to tell us these things.
Beloved, we need to cultivate a close relationship and fellowship with the Holy
Spirit. Spend time praying in tongues. Commune with Him, speak to Him, talk to
Him and let Him reveal to you deep and secret things.
Prayer
Father we thank
You for Your Word and Your Spirit. We pray that the grace of our Lord Jesus
Christ, the love of God and sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit will be with us
now and forevermore in Jesus name, amen.
