Faith in God – Absolute Trust
Dearly
beloved, I trust this finds you well and bubbling in the Lord. We continue our
study on 2 Timothy 1v5 (AMPC), where Paul writes to Timothy that “I am calling
up memories of your sincere and unqualified faith (the leaning of your entire
personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power,
wisdom, and goodness), [a faith] that first lived permanently in [the heart of]
your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am [fully] persuaded,
[dwells] in you also].”
Here,
we see that Timothy was described to have absolute trust and confidence in God’s
power, wisdom and goodness. Absolute means total, complete, unqualified. Child
of God, Hebrews 11v6 lets us know that this complete trust in God is important
for us to please Him; for without faith it is impossible to please God. Mark
11v22 says “… Have faith in God.” What is causing you fear or discouragement
today? Have faith in God. Put absolute trust and be confident in His power, His
wisdom and His goodness. Have faith in God.
Prayer

in any way, we pray that You help our unbelief. We thank You for Your Word who

we declare that we trust in Your power, Your wisdom and Your goodness, in Jesus
name we pray, amen.
