Rejoice
Dearly beloved, I
trust this finds you well and bubbling in the Lord. Philippians 3v1 (King James Version) says
“Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord….” God will have us
to rejoice in Him. Synonyms for rejoice include celebrate,
cheer, exult, delight. There are many reasons to celebrate in and because of
the Lord. Psalm 118v15 (NIV) lets us know that “Shouts of joy and victory
resound in the tents of the righteous: “The LORD’s right hand has done mighty
things!””.
Rejoice.
How many times have you called
on a fellow believer to testify of the mercies and goodness of the Lord?
Indeed, there are many reasons to celebrate in Him. We also have cause to
cheer. Our God says “I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have
[perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials
and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident,
certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of
power to harm you and have conquered it for you” (John 16v33, AMP). We also see
in 2 Corinthians 2v14 (KJV): “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth
us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us
in every place.” Whatever you are going through, rely and fully trust in God for He
will make you to triumph. Hallelujah.
Prayer
Our Father and our God, we
thank You. We rejoice in You this day. Our soul exalts You. You are
Wonderful, Faithful and True. There is none like You and none can compare with
You. We love You. We appreciate You. We honour You. We ask O Lord for the grace
to always rejoice in You, no matter what trials and tribulations
may come our way. Help us always to see the Lord high and lifted, and
to remember that all things are working together for the good of those who love
God and are called according to His purpose. All this we ask in Jesus name,
amen.
