You have not, because you ask not (4)

Dearly beloved, I trust this finds you well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for another day which He has given to us. We continue looking at James 4v2 (NCV) which says “… You do not get what you want, because you do not ask God.” Child of God, God wants you to ask for what you want or need or require. Sometimes, we do not have what we would like because we do not ask or we lose faith. Matthew 7v7-8 (AMPC) says “Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened.”

Beloved, go to God and ask for what you want or desire. Don’t get tired of going to God (Luke 18v1). James 5v16 (TLB) says “… The earnest prayer of a righteous man has great power and wonderful results.” Mark 11v22-24 (AMPC) also says “And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].” Hallelujah.

Prayer

Father we thank You for You are good God who loves to hear from us, a Father who loves to answer our prayers. Child of God, what is it that has you bothered? What request do you have? Why not take it to God now?
