Divine Partnership

Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His faithfulness, His Omnipresence, and His constant care for us.

Many times we have one thing or the other to do. We are actually hardly without work to do. Even if we don’t have work that we are doing, as in a paid employment, we might be in the process of looking for one, which in and of itself is also work. Even if it is an errand at church, we usually have work to do. The great thing is that God has offered us a way to ensure that the work we do, will be done very very well., and will be successful. Not only has He assured us that it is not by power, nor by might, but by His Spirit (Zechariah 4v6) and that we should trust in Him with all our hearts and not lean unto our own understanding (Proverbs 3), in Proverbs 16v3, He tells us that if we commit our works into His hands, He will establish our thoughts. The Dakes concordance calls this a partnership in its notes, and we know from Romans 8 that if God be for us, who can be against us? Some synonyms for establish, include - set up, launch, start, create, institute, and ascertain. In essence, when you do not even know where to start from, He will start off your thought process, launching it for you, and institutionalizing it.

“Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.” Proverbs 16v3 (King James Version)

“Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.” Proverbs 16v3 (Amplified Bible)

“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs 16v3 (New International Version)

“Commit your actions to the LORD, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs 16v3 (New Living Translation)

“Depend on the Lord in whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs 16v3 (New Century Version)

So, what are you waiting for? Quit struggling with that work you have to do (even that which you feel you don’t have to struggle to accomplish), and commit it into God’s hands, and let Him begin to establish your thoughts in Jesus name, amen.
