July 12th, 2009 – Where are you looking? (6)

Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. I hope you have been having a delightful weekend as well. We thank God for His mercies and His grace over our lives. Where are you looking for help? The Psalmist had the answer of where we should look. We see this in Psalm 121v1-2:

“I lift up my eyes to the hills – where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Psalm 121v1-2 (New International Version)

“I look up to the mountains – does my help come from there?
My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth!” Psalm 121v1-2 (New Living Translation)

“I WILL lift up my eyes to the hills [around Jerusalem, to sacred Mount Zion and Mount Moriah]—From whence shall my help come?
My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121v1-2 (Amplified Bible)

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121v1-2 (King James Version)

So where are you looking for help – self, others, circumstances. All wrong – look to the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth, and you will be blessed in so doing.

Have a very blessed day.
