Except the Lord
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His blessings, His grace over our lives and His provision. We thank Him for being our Lord, Master and King and putting in everyone of us a seed of greatness. One verse we might know or have come across at some point in our lives is from Psalm 127v1 which says:
“EXCEPT the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.”
Even as you start this new week, remember that everything you do or will do will prove to be futile unless the Lord is involved in what you are doing. Remember to commit everything into His hands, so that your thoughts might be established (Proverbs 16v3), and have a very fantastic week even as you do so in Jesus name, amen.
Dearest Heavenly Father,
We thank You so much for this day which You have made, which we can rejoice and be glad in. We thank You for Your lovingkindness and Your tendermercies, and for who You are to us. Thank You for being our guide. Lord we know, even according to Your Word, that if You are not involved in the building of a house, those who build it do so in vain. If You do not watch over a city, the watchman waketh but in vain. IN the same vain, we understand that unless You are involved in a work, those who put their hands to work on it, do so to no avail. And so Master of the universe, we lift up every work and project of our hands before Your throne of grace, and ask that You take control of every aspect of it in Jesus name, amen. We pray that You will be our Guide, Counselor, Financier and Leader, even by Your Spirit, to the glory of Your Name, in Jesus name, amen. Thank You Father, Son and Holy Spirit. In Jesus mighty name we pray, amen.
