Don’t get angry!
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Happy Happy Sunday. We thank God for His amazing love, grace and peace. He is indeed faithful. The Bible says:
“Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;…” Psalm 37v8 (New International Version)
“Cease from anger and forsake wrath;…” Psalm 37v8 (Amplified Bible)
“Bridle your anger, trash you wrath,…” Psalm 37v8 (The Message)
“Stop being angry! Turn from rage!...” Psalm 37v8 (New Living Translation)
“Don’t get angry….” Psalm 37v8 (New Century Version)
… but she really upset me. Don’t get angry. But he hit my car and bashed it and now he is making excuses, refrain from anger. There are many opportunities that present themselves to us to make us angry, but the Bible is here telling us to refrain from anger, and turn from wrath. Just cease from anger, and “trash your wrath.” It’s not worth it, and may the good Lord grant us the grace to do so in Jesus name, amen.
Have a very blessed day.
Heavenly Father,
We thank You so much for today. We thank You because of Your great grace, and love for us. We thank You for Your Word which says we should refrain from anger, and turn from wrath. We ask today for the grace to do so in Jesus name, amen. Father we pray that in situations that our being angry or wrathful have caused us to sin against our fellow brethren and against You (you know these situations, why don’t you confess them to God now), we pray that You would have mercy and forgive us in Jesus name, amen. We pray for peace in our homes and in our families in Jesus name we pray, amen.
