Waiting...
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His love, His faithfulness, His tendermercies and His care for us. As humans, one thing we sometimes do not like to do is to wait. But one thing God sometimes requires of us is to wait, even as we see in Psalm 37v34 where the Bible says:
“Wait on the LORD, and keep His way, and He shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.”
Isaiah 30v18 speaks of God waiting so that He may be gracious unto you. Isaiah 30v15 says:
“This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: “Only in returning to Me and resting in Me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength. But you would have none it.”
Wouldn’t you go back to God and say Lord, I am tired of trying to make things happen my own way. I want Your way not mine. Remember in quietness and confidence is your strength. Besides you can ask God that – Father, grant me the grace to wait on You, to wait for You, and to wait patiently with You in Jesus name, amen.
