I hear…

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His mercies, His grace and His joy. Indeed He is the Most High God, the One who never fails and who never changes. He is worthy of all our praise and adoration, hallelujah.

“The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.” Psalm 37v30 (KJV)

“The godly offer good counsel; they teach right from wrong.” Psalm 37v30 (New Living Translation)

The Bible also advises us to:
“Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge.” Proverbs 14v7 (King James Version)

“Stay away from fools, for you won’t find knowledge on their lips.” Proverbs 14v7 (New Living Translation)

And also:
“Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers.” Psalm 1v1 (New Living Translation)

Today I heard an exhortation on going beyond our limitations. One word of advice was to go to bed more intelligent than when you woke up, and the fact that it was work that needed to be done to exceed one’s limitations. The Bible tells us that:

“Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.” Proverbs 19v2 (King James Version)

What are you doing to increase knowledge? Who are you associating with and what are you imbibing? Are you listening to words of wisdom, and able to share some yourself, or are you following the counsel of the ungodly? Even as we go into this new week, let us be alert as to what is being said about us. Are they words of wisdom? Do they teach right from wrong?

Have a very blessed week.

P.S: Let us remember those who have lost friends, family or loved ones in the plane crash in India, that the good Lord will comfort them at this time in Jesus name, amen.
