On Debts
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day. We thank God for His Word which says “Let all those that seek Thee rejoice and be glad in Thee: and let such as love Thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified” (Psalm 70v4). Hallelujah, Let God be magnified in Jesus name, amen. The Bible also tells us two characteristics of the wicked versus the righteous when it comes to borrowing and lending:
“The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous give generously;” Psalm 37v21 (NIV)
“The wicked borrow and never repay, but the godly are generous givers.” Psalm 37v21 (New Living Translation)
“The wicked borrow and pay not again [for they may be unable], but the [uncompromisingly] righteous deal kindly and give [for they are able].” Psalm 37v21 (Amplified Bible)
“The wicked borrow and don’t pay back, but those who do right give freely to others.” Psalm 37v21 (New Century Version)
“Wicked borrows and never returns; Righteous gives and gives.” Psalm 37v21 (The Message)
Beloved, please if you have borrowed from someone, give them back what you owe, especially if it is in your power to do so… It is the right thing to do. The Bible also reminds us to:
“Render to all men their dues. [Pay] taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, and honor to whom honor is due.
Keep out of debt and own no man anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor [who practices loving others] has fulfilled the Law [relating to one’s fellowmen, meeting all its requirements].” Romans 13v7-8 (Amplified Bible)
Amen. Have a very blessed weekend.
P.S: Can we pray for people who may have debts that may seem to be consuming and suffocating them, that the Merciful God will intervene on their behalf, and perform the impossible for them in Jesus name, amen.
