Just a Reminder (2)

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. The Bible says:

Primary Text:
“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is (springs) from God; and he who loves [his fellowmen] is begotten (born) of God and is coming [progressively] to know and understand God [to perceive and recognize and get a better and clearer knowledge of Him]. He who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love.” 1 John 4v7-8 (AMP)

Beloved, in the body of Christ, we are a team. We are all part of one body. Let us show love and walk in love towards one another. Let us be kind to one another, and patient with each other. The Bible says “For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you are always biting and devouring one another, watch out Beware of destroying one another. So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.” (Galatians 5v14-16). In our own selves, we cannot love or show love, but thank God that we are new creatures in Christ. God is love, and we have been given the power to be the sons of God (John 1v12), and the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us (Romans 5v5); inclusive in the fruit of the Spirit is love. (Galatians 5v22).

Supplementary Text
“Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, it any comfort from His love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of others.” Philippians 2v1-4 (NIV)

Prayer
Father Lord, I thank You for Your love for me. Father, I thank You for the body of Christ of which I am a part of. Father, help me to truly understand the love of Christ which passeth knowledge and to walk in that love towards You and others, in Jesus name, amen.
