Restorer of Life

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

“In Him was life; …” John 1v4 (KJV)

Because God is the Giver of life and life itself, He can turn situations around and restore dead situations. Not only can He raise the dead as seen in the story of Lazarus (John 11v43-44) and the son of the widow of Nain (Luke 7v11-15), but also dead situations. Indeed when there is life, there is hope; and when one is connected to the giver of life, there is hope. Job 14v7 (KJV) says “For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.” And we know as well that with God nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1v37). Beloved, what is that situation you are going through or have experienced and looks like nothing can be done about it? Does it have to do with your children, work, life in general, walk with the Lord? God is able to bring that situation back to life. In Ezekiel 37v1-10, Ezekiel was brought by the Lord to a valley of dry bones, and yet based on the Lord’s instructions, he prophesied to the bones telling them to hear the Word of the Lord and they eventually because a vast army. The Lord then spoke to the prophet saying: ““Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’ Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. Then you, My people, will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. I will put My Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the LORD have spoken, and I have done it, declares the LORD” (Ezekiel 37v11-14, NIV). Amen. Beloved, what is that situation that seems dead? Begin to declare to it the Word of the Lord, telling it to hear and to heed and may every dead thing come to life in Jesus name, amen. It may take time before you see the manifestation, but don’t despair, the Word works.

Prayer

Father we thank You for You are the Giver of life, and Your words are powerful. We thank You because Your Word that goes forth does not come back void, but performs that which it has been sent to do. We pray that You will guide us on how to pray for any dead and impossible situation and that they would be brought back to life to the glory of Your name in Jesus name, amen.
