The King of Glory (4)
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this
day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.
Primary Text
“Lift up your heads, O ye
gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall
come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty,...” Psalm
24v7-10 (KJV)
Who is this King of
glory? He is the Almighty. Our God is a strong and mighty God. The Bible tells
us how He led the children of Israel out of Egypt with His mighty hand. Deuteronomy
26v8 (KJV) tells us “And the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty
hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with
signs, and with wonders:” while Deuteronomy 7v8 (KJV) says “But because the
LORD loved you, and because He would keep the oath which He had sworn unto your
fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out
of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.” Beloved, I
don’t know what you are going through today or what situation seems impossible
but our God is mighty to save. He can deliver from afflictions, addictions and
every form of bondage. For the children of Israel who were under serious
oppression, God delivered them out of it; even from a very obstinate Pharaoh. He
knows and understands all that you are going through as He did the children of
Israel: Exodus 3v7 (AMP) says “And the Lord said, I have surely seen the
affliction of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of
their taskmasters and oppressors; for I know their sorrows and sufferings and
trials.” Moreover, 2 Chronicles 16v9 (AMP) encourages us that “For the eyes of
the Lord search back and forth across the whole earth, looking for people whose
hearts are perfect toward Him, so that He can show His great power in helping
them…”
Prayer
Are you in need of a
miracle or an intervention by God? Why not cry out to the King of glory?
