Known of God (3)

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text

“But if any one loves God truly [with affectionate reverence, prompt obedience, and grateful recognition of His blessing], he is known by God [recognized as worthy of His intimacy and love, and he is owned by Him].” 1 Corinthians 8v3 (AMP)

In my mother tongue, there is a word which says, if you know how to think, you will know how to give thanks. Do you acknowledge God and are grateful for His every blessing to you? Psalm 103v1-5 (AMP) says “Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name! Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits – Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases, Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy; Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]!” Hallelujah. Have you made thanksgiving a life style? Hebrews 13v15 (AMP) says “Through Him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.”

Supplementary Text

“Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will].” 1 Thessalonians 5v18 (AMP)

Prayer

Our heavenly Father, we thank You. We thank You for the salvation of our souls, we thank You for Your goodness, faithfulness, loving-kindness and tender mercies. Thank You for sending Jesus to die for us and for giving us Your Spirit to be with us and in us. Thank You for the breath of life. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Our Lord and our God we honor You, we acknowledge You. You alone are our God, a wonder-working God. Hallowed be Your holy name forever more in Jesus name, amen.
