Divine direction (2)

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text
“Now may our God and Father Himself and our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) guide our steps to you.” 1 Thessalonians 3v11 (AMP)

One of the ways God guides us is through His Word. His Word helps us to know His will, what He likes, how He acts and who He is. Indeed we are told in Psalm 138v2 (AMP) that “… for You have exalted above all else Your name and Your word and You have magnified Your word above all Your name!” God reveals Himself to us through His words, and His Word is truth! We are told that “God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?” (Numbers 23v19, AMP). In other words, we can take Him for His Word. Furthermore we are told that “For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfilment.” (Luke 1v37, AMP). Hallelujah. Through God’s Word, we know His promises for us, we know who we are in Him, we know what He likes and dislikes, and we get guidance for our ways. We learn how to talk to Him, and about Him. Oh, what a privilege it is to have the Word of God.  He guides us with His Word. Telling us what is right from wrong: “Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and actions),” 2 Timothy 3v16 (AMP). Are you in need of direction, look into His Word, and may He guide you in His ways in Jesus name, amen.

Supplementary Text
“Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.” Psalm 119v105 (NLT)
