Stand

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

“But, brothers and sisters, when we were orphaned by being separated from you for a short time (in person, not in thought), out of our intense longing we made every effort to see you. For we wanted to come to you – certainly I, Paul did, again and again – but Satan blocked our way.” 1 Thessalonians 2v17-18 (NIV)

Beloved, in the face of adversity, in addition to being strong in the Lord, and putting on the Lord’s armor, we are encouraged that after we have done all we should stand! Ephesians 6v13-14 (AMP) says “Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place]. Stand therefore [hold your ground], …” Beloved, hold on to your confidence in Christ. 1 Corinthians 15v58 (NIV) says “Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” Beloved, having put on God’s armor – stand! Regardless of what you see or do not see, hear or don’t hear, stand firm in your faith in God! Be courageous, and God will strengthen you as we see in Psalm 31v24 (KJV) which says “Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.”

“Be alert and on your guard; stand firm in your faith (your conviction respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, keeping the trust and holy fervor born of faith and a part of it). Act like men and be courageous; grow in strength! [Ps. 31:24].” 1 Corinthians 16v13 (AMP)

Prayer

Father, I worship and I adore You. I thank You so much for this day. Be glorified. I take courage in You. I pray that You will strengthen me with might by Your Spirit in the inner man in Jesus name, amen. Thank You King of glory in Jesus name I pray, amen.
