Don't stop praying

“Pray without ceasing.” 1 Thessalonians 5v17 (KJV)

“Always keep on praying.” 1 Thessalonians 5v17 (TLB)

“Be unceasing in prayer [praying perseveringly];” 1 Thessalonians 5v17 (AMP)

What an encouragement this is. Beloved, we are encouraged to pray continually, without ceasing, not getting weary in the place of prayer. Prayer is communicating with God. Never ever ever be tired of bringing God into the situation. It doesn’t matter what you see or do not see, honour God through your prayers. From the parable in Luke 18v1-8, we might say that prayer is an expression of faith, and we know that Hebrews 11v6 (AMP) tells us that “But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].” God is a rewarder. He is faithful to His Word and to His promises… But are we faithful to Him unto the end? Do we pray with expectation? Do we believe that we would receive what we prayed for? Do we have faith in the God that we pray to?

He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’ “For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!’” And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night? Will He keep putting them off? I tell you, He will see that they get justice, and quickly. Prayer

Father we thank You for You are a faithful God. We thank You because You eyes are upon us and Your ears are open to our cry. We thank You for You answer prayers. We pray for the grace to pray continually and without ceasing in Jesus name, amen.
