In the love of God

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text

“May the Lord direct your hearts into [realizing and showing] the love of God …” 2 Thessalonians 3v5 (AMP)

“May the Lord bring you into an ever deeper understanding of the love of God …” 2 Thessalonians 3v5 (TLB)

A big amen to this prayer. May we truly come to know and understand the love of God. Ephesians 3v17-19 (AMP) says “May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it]; [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!” A big amen to this prayer as well. Not only should we know the love of God, but may we indeed show this love of God to others. Philippians 1v9-11 (TLB) says “My prayer for you is that you will overflow more and more with love for others, and at the same time keep on growing in spiritual knowledge and insight, for I want you always to see clearly the difference between right and wrong, and to be inwardly clean, no one being able to criticize you from now until our Lord returns. May you always be doing those good, kind things that show you are a child of God, for this will bring much praise and glory to the Lord.”

Prayer

Father, I thank You for the love that You have for us. We pray that You would continue to direct our hearts to realize and show this love in Jesus name, amen.
