Who I am by His grace

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text
“The grace (spiritual blessing and favor) of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) be with you all. Amen (so be it).” 2 Thessalonians 3v18 (AMP)

We thank God for the grace of God that is available for us. This grace enables us to do that which we could never even do in our own strength or ability, and helps us to be who we could never even dream of being. First and foremost, by His grace we are children of God! Yes, we are children of the Most High God, called to shine forth as lights in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation; to show forth the praises of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvellous light. We are not ordinary, we are peculiar! 1 Peter 2v9 (AMP) says “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light.” Only by the grace of God could this be possible. I mean, think of who you were before you came to know the Lord and who you are today – only by the grace of God. Because of His grace that has enabled us to become the children of God, we are victorious, and more than conquerors through Him that loved us (Romans 8v37). That’s why the Apostle Paul could say:

Supplementary Text
“But by the grace (the unmerited favor and blessing) of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not [found to be] for nothing (fruitless and without effect). In fact, I worked harder than all of them [the apostles], though it was not really I, but the grace (the unmerited favor and blessing) of God which was with me.” (1 Corinthians 15v10, AMP).

Prayer

Our Father and our God we thank You so much for this day. We thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness, and we thank You for Your grace. Thank You because we are Your children because of Your grace. We thank You for Your grace that is sufficient for us and is available to us. We pray for great grace to be all that You want us to be in Jesus name we pray, amen.
