C’est Nada!

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text
“[But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us!” Romans 8v18 (AMP)

“That’s why I don’t think there’s any comparison between the present hard times and the coming good times.” Romans 8v18 (MSG)

The scripture here tells us that the sufferings we are going through now, it is nothing compared to the glory that will be revealed in us. Indeed, c’est nada in comparison. Hallelujah. 2 Corinthians 3v15-17 (KJV) encourages us with these words: “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” Indeed, let us never let the “sufferings” get us down, because they are but for a moment, and they are temporal. Something greater and eternal and exceeding more glorious is coming if we do not back down from following the Lord. Let us fight the good fight of faith, fixing our eyes on Him and enduring as He did (Hebrews 12v1-3). Let us go to Him with our burdens and cares, and continue to take His on. Hebrews 4v14-16 (TLB) saying “But Jesus the Son of God is our great High Priest who has gone to heaven itself to help us; therefore let us never stop trusting Him. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses since He had the same temptations we do, though He never once gave way to them and sinned. So let us come boldly to the very throne of God and stay there to receive His mercy and to find grace to help us in our times of need.”

Prayer
Father, I thank You so much for this day, and pray that my every second, minute, hour, situation will give glory to Your name and lead to the spreading of the Good News in Jesus name, amen. Grant me the grace to endure every suffering and to keep my eyes fixed on Jesus, in Jesus name, amen. Strengthen me by Your Spirit, may I walk in and be led by Your Spirit always in Jesus name, amen.
