Look to Jesus
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His mercies, His grace, and His love for us. Happy new week☺
“And Peter answered Him and said, Lord, if it be Thou, bid me come unto Thee on the water.
And He said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord save me.
And immediately Jesus stretched forth His hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?” Matthew 14v28-31
The Bible tells us that:
“Wherefore seeing we also are compasses about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12v1&2
Look to Jesus. Follow Him. You have given up sin, don’t pick it up again. You have launched out in faith to follow His leading and His guidance on certain things and issues, don’t be scared of the winds of guilt, shame, doubt, unbelief, lack, want,… that may seem to be boisterous all around you. Fix your eyes on Jesus, and have a very wonderful day in Jesus name, amen.
Prayer: Lord, help me to have faith in You, trusting in Your love for me and remembering always that You are the author and finisher of our faith.
