Stand firm!
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Happy Valentine’s day. We thank God for the greatest love of all, He sending His Son to dying on the cross of calvary for us, so that we would have eternal life. We thank God for that. One advice Jesus gave His disciples, in view of the last days and all the things that would happen, is seen in Luke 21v19, which says:
“By standing firm, you will win your souls.” (New Living Translation)
“In your patience possess ye your souls.” (King James Version)
In the same vein, Mark 13v13 says:
“And you will be hated and detested by everybody for My name’s sake, but he who patiently perseveres and endures to the end will be saved (made a partaker of the salvation by Christ, and delivered from spiritual death).” Mark 13v13 (Amplified Bible)
“All people will hate you because you follow Me, but those people who keep their faith until the end will be saved.” Mark 13v13 (New Century Version)
The Bible is here telling us that we should hold firm until the end. Even when people hate you, speak bad about you because of your love for Jesus, don’t get offended at the Word. Don’t lose your faith. Remember it is happening to other believers, and encourage one another about the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Remember the Lord says that the just shall live by faith, and if anyone draws back, His soul will have no pleasure in him (Hebrews 10v38). Hold fast onto what you have believed in until the end; continue to grow in the grace and the knowledge of God (2 Peter 3:18). Remember His grace is sufficient for us, and His strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12v9). Be strong and keep the faith unto the end, and may we all be like the good ground in the parable of the sower which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience, in Jesus name, amen (Luke 8).
“To Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy – to the only God our Saviour be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen. “ Jude 24-25(New International Version).
