Shortened days!

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for a new week. We thank Him for life, and love, and fellowship, and good food, shelter, and Him being an ever present help in trouble (Psalm 46v1). God cares very much about His children. The Bible tells us about how it is appointed for men once to die, but after this the judgment (Hebrews 9v27). However, there is also the coming back of the Lord Jesus for His own. Before He comes back however, there are certain “signs” that He had told His disciples would happen -wars, famine, brother rising against brother e.t.c. But in all of these, He gives message of don’t be afraid, don’t be terrified, don’t worry about what you will say, the words will be given to you in that same hour, in your patience possess ye your souls e.t.c. Today, we see some other things that are to pass, and another message of hope, that God has shortened these days, so we can bear them.

“But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:

And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.

But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.

For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom He hath chosen, He hath shortened the days.” Mark 13v14-20

Have a blessed day.

And perhaps you do not even know Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour, and you want to have a relationship with Him. The Bible says:

“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” Romans 10v9-10

You can say this prayer: Heavenly Father, I come to You today, confessing that I am a sinner. I am sorry for all that I have done and ask that You forgive me for all of my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Lord Jesus, I ask that You be Lord and Saviour over my life. I believe that You came to die for my sins, and that God raised You from the dead. Thank You Father for translating me out of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Your dear Son. Thank You for sealing me with Your Holy Spirit of promise. Please keep me till the end in You, and may Your Name alone be glorified in my life, in Jesus name I pray, amen.

If you said this prayer today, know that you are now a child of God and that there is much jubilation in heaven because of you. Begin to attend a Bible-believing church, and keep the faith! Welcome into God’s family.
