Psalm 77: Remember

Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His mercy and His grace. We thank Him because we can remember the years of the right hand of the Lord. He is faithful! Now, Psalm 77 speaks of someone going through a tough time, and he had mused about different things like – will the LORD cast off forever? Will He be favourable no more? Is His mercy clean gone forever? Doth His promise fail forever? Hath God forgotten to be gracious? Hath He in anger shut up His tender mercies? And then finally he comes to the point when he says – this is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.

“I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember Thy wonders of old.” Psalm 77v11

Why don’t you take some time to remember the works of the LORD, and His wonders of old - both in your life, and in your family, and in those around you. Also from the Bible, what He did with the children of Israel, and the mighty victories He wrought in their midst; with Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; with Esther and with Ruth; with Rahab and Bathsheba; with Mary and Peter…. Remember!

Have a very blessed day.

P.S: Just noticed that Psalm 77 is a “psalm of Asaph”, and all along I have been writing that it was from David. Sorry about that. Not sure though who wrote it … But we thank God that the words are still inspired by the Holy Spirit and the message is still the same.
