Remember Joseph!

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His faithfulness, His love, His goodness, and all that He is to us. It is amazing that God’s ways are not our ways. And yet we can trust Him that He is in control and that His hand is on our lives.

Remember Joseph. At times, it seemed like he was on top of the world – with his father’s love, his dreams, and his coat of many colors. But then, there was the continuous nagging nature of his brother’s hatred and jealousy of him. Something that he had to live with. And then, he was sold into slavery. But God was with Him. Anytime he seemed to be somewhat at the top of his game for instance, being in charge of all that Potiphar had (except his wife), being in prison and being put in charge of things there, something always seemed to happen. But we know the end of the story right. God was with him every step of the way, just as HE is with you now. Joseph didn’t dabble with sin, and he came out victorious and fulfilling his purpose in life. Amazing how even in the “trials” God was fulfilling His purpose. Beloved, are thing seeming quite tough right now – remember Joseph.

“AND JOSEPH was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites, which had brought him down thither.
And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.
And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.” Genesis 39v1-3

“There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” Genesis 39v9

“But the LORD was with Joseph, and showed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of prison.
And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.
The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper.” Genesis 39v21-23

“And his brethren also went and fell down before his face; and they said, Behold, we be thy servants.
And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God?
But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.” Genesis 50v18-20

Have a very blessed day.
