IN the Potter’s Hands

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

“This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD:
“Go down to the potter’s house, and there I will give you My message.”
So I went down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel.
But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in the his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.
Then the word of the LORD came to me:
“O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter does?” declares the LORD.
“Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel.” Jeremiah 18v1-6

“And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes for the Lord, who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3v18 (NIV)

“For those God foreknew He also predestinated to be conformed to the likeness of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers.” Romans 8v29 (NIV)

“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3v18 (KJV)

“For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.” Romans 8v29 (KJV)

God wants to change us into a beautiful image. In fact, for as many as He foreknew, He predestinated to be conformed to the likeness/image of Christ. This is being done as a continual process (just as the potter keeps shaping his pot), and we go from glory to glory even by the Spirit of God. We are changed as we read the Word, changed as we increase in the knowledge of God, changed as we adore Him through praise and worship, changed as we go through trials and let patience have her perfect work… that we may be conformed to the image of God, even by the Spirit of God. Hallelujah.

Have a very wonderful day.
