Through the knowledge of Him (2)

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this Saturday? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and Jesus our Lord in Jesus name, amen. Now, sometimes, it’s in getting to know someone that you know their character, their nature, their abilities (and can partake of that ability), the things they would willingly give to you, and the things that take a struggle for them to let go of ☺

The Bible tells us in 2 Peter 1v2 that:

“According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” 2 Peter 1v3 (KJV)

“His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.” 2 Peter 1v3 (NIV)

“For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue).” 2 Peter 1v3 (AMP)

“By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the One who has called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence.” 2 Peter 1v3 (NLT)

“Jesus has the power of God, by which He has given us everything we need to live and to serve God. We have these things because we know Him. Jesus called us by His glory and goodness.” 2 Peter 1v3 (NCV)

Hallelujah. Isn’t it amazing to know that we already have all that we need to live and to serve God; to live a godly life. This has been given us by the power of God. Not because of what we can do, but by the power of God. Hallelujah. And these things we have because we know Him. We should walk in this knowledge that because I know Him, I have been given everything I need to live a godly life, by the power of God. That is fantastic. And may we continue to increase in the knowledge of God in Jesus name, amen.

Have a very blessed day.
