Are you ready?

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Once Jesus healed a man that was blind, and the Jews did not really believe it, and so they asked His parents. “His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind: But by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who hath opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself.” John 9v20-21 Now the parents gave that answer out of fear, so that they will not get into trouble with the Jews. However, the fact remains that one day you will have to give an account for the things committed in your body.

Primary Text:
“Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.”
2 Corinthians 5v9-11 (KJV)

Are you labouring to be accepted of God…. or of man? Jesus died to take away our sins. Beloved, having done all to stand, stand. Keep the faith, don’t be pulled away by the things of the world. Once you die, you will have to give an account of things done in your body, whether good or bad.

Supplementary Texts
“For then would He often have had to suffer [over and over again] since the foundation of the world. But as it now is, He has once for all at the consummation and close of the ages appeared to put away and abolish sin by His sacrifice [of Himself]. And just as it is appointed for [all] men once to die, and after that the [certain] judgment, Even so it is that Christ, having been offered to take upon Himself and bear as a burden the sins of many once and once for all, will appear a second time, not to carry any burden of sin nor to deal with sin, but to bring to full salvation those who are [eagerly, constantly, and patiently] waiting for and expecting Him.” Hebrews 9v26-28 (Amplified Bible)

“When people commend themselves, it doesn’t count for much. The important thing is for the Lord to commend them.” 2 Corinthians 10v18 (NLT)

“But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are His. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” 2 Timothy 2v16-19 (KJV)

Prayer
Father, I thank You for Your Word. I ask for Your mercy in anyway I have drifted away from You. Forgive me Lord, and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Father, I commit myself into Your hands, chastise me when I err and keep me in the paths of righteousness for Your namesake. In Jesus name I pray with thanksgiving, amen.
