Faith and Patience (3)

Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Happy new month everybody ☺ We thank God for bringing us to see a new month.

Primary Text: Hebrews 11v11
“Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.” Hebrews 11v11 (KJV)

“Because of faith also Sarah herself physical power to conceive a child, even when she was long past the age for it, because she considered [God] Who had given her the promise to be reliable and trustworthy and true to His word.” Hebrews 11v11 (AMP)

The story of Sarah and Abraham shows us how dependable God is. It doesn’t matter how incredulous something may sound. It may even make you laugh to think of it, like Sarah and Abraham (Genesis 17v17) did, but hold on. God kept telling them they would have a child. More than once He said it. The same way He keeps reminding us of His love for us and promises to us in His Word. His Word came to pass in the life of Abraham and Sarah, and they laughed at the end. His Word will surely come to pass in your life, and you shall have your Isaac in Jesus name, amen.

Supplementary Text
“Then God said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall be her name. And I will bless her and also give you a son by her; then I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be from her.” Genesis 17v15-16

“Then they said to him, “Where is Sarah your wife?” So he said, “Here, in the tent.” And He said, “I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son.” (Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him.) Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age; and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?” And the LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” Genesis 18v9-14 (NKJV)

“And the LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac… And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.” Genesis 21v1-3, 6.

Prayer
Father in heaven, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for Your set time which does not fail in Jesus name, amen.
