Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Jesus is the image of the invisible God.

Primary Text: Colossians 1v15
“Who is the image of the invisible God,” Colossians 1v15 (KJV)

“[Now] He is the exact likeness of the unseen God [the visible representation of the invisible];…” Colossians 1v15 (AMP)

“No one can see God, but Jesus Christ is exactly like Him…” Colossians 1v15 (NCV)

Jesus is the image of God. In Mark 12v16, when Jesus was asked whether or not they should pay taxes to Caesar or not? He asked them whose image was on the coin. And it was the image of Caesar. Jesus is the image of God. Sometimes people try to represent God, and use images that resemble a corruptible man, or birds, or beasts (Romans 1v23). Jesus is the image of the invisible God. Jesus is God, and the 2nd Person of the Holy Trinity. God has predestinated to be changed into His image.

Supplementary Text:
“For the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers’ minds [that they should not discern the truth], preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ (the Messiah), Who is the Image and Likeness of God.” 2 Corinthians 4v4 (AMP)

“For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was aware and loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren.” Romans 8v29 (AMP)

“And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3v18 (AMP)

“And have clothed yourselves with the new [spiritual self], which is [ever in the process of being] renewed and remolded into [fuller and more prefect knowledge upon] knowledge after the image (the likeness) of Him Who created it.” Colossians 3v10
