A Glorious Kingdom!

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His wonderful rescue mission, wherein He has saved us, and not only that, but He brought us into a new Kingdom, that of His dear Son. Hallelujah. What are the implications of this?

Primary Text: Colossians 1v13
“[The Father] has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,” Colossians 1v13 (AMP)

“For He has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of His dear Son,” Colossians 1v13 (NLT)

We are no longer under the rulership of the devil and the kingdom of darkness, but that of King Jesus. It is a kingdom that can never be defeated. Of the increase of His government and peace, there shall be no end. It is a Kingdom which is not meat and drink, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14v17). It is a Kingdom which cannot be defeated, because its King can never be overthrown. It is a glorious Kingdom and an everlasting One, and we are the King’s kid!

Supplementary Text:
“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.” Isaiah 9v6-7

“He came to that which belonged to Him [to His own—His domain, creation, things, world], and they who were His own did not receive Him and did not welcome Him. But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name--” John 1v11-12 (AMP)

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, Which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is His body, the fullness of Him that filleth all in all.” Ephesians 1v17-23
