A Rescue Mission!
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Happy Sunday! God has carried out a great rescue mission on our behalf. Remember Lot, God did the same for him and his family, when God was about to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, but brought Lot out from there. So you might ask, where did God rescue us from?
Primary Text: Colossians 1v13
“[The Father] has delivered and drawn us to Himself our of the control and the dominion of darkness…:” Colossians 1v13 (AMP)
“For He has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness…” Colossians 1v13 (NLT)
So God has delivered us out of the dominion of the evil one. He has saved us from sin and death. He has removed us from the control of the devil. The devil no longer has any power over you, as a child of God. By His grace He has saved us, and we are no longer under the law. “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” (Romans 6v14)

“To open their eyes that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may thus receive forgiveness and release from their sins and a place and portion among those who are consecrated and purified by faith in Me.” Acts 26v18 (AMP)
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” 1 Peter 2v9
“And you hath He quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come He might shew the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Father in heaven, we thank You so much for who You are. We thank You for saving us from the kingdom of darkness. Thank You so much everlasting Father for calling us Your own in Jesus name, amen.
