The Birds in the Air
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Your life is of value to God. Your body is important to Him. So why are you worried?
Primary Text: Matthew 6v26
“Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?” Matthew 6v26 (KJV)
“Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they?” Matthew 6v26 (AMP)

““No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life – whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to Him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? … ‘So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.” Matthew 6v24-27, 31-33 (NLT)
“If you decide for God, living a life of God-worship, it follows that you don’t fuss about what’s on the table at mealtimes or whether the clothes in your closet are in fashion. There is far more to your life than the food you put in your stomach, more to your outer appearance than the clothes you hang on your body. Look at the birds, free and unfettered, not tied down to a job description, careless in the care of God. And you count far more to Him than birds.” Matthew 6v25-26 (The Message)
God values you for His glory, for His purpose, for You are His child. He loves you. “… know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own (1 Corinthians 6v19). God loves us in an incredible way. You will see that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. He demonstrates His love for us by all that He is to us – Our Lord, our Master, our Strength, our Deliverer, our Provider, our God. Bask in His love. And stop worrying about these things that the Gentiles do (Matthew 6v32)

Father, I thank You for You Word today, and ask that I may know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, in Jesus name, amen.
