No Condemnation

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for another week that He has made and allowed us to see. The year really is flying by fast. We thank God as well that as believers, justified through faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5v1).

Primary Text: Romans 8v1&2
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8v1&2 (KJV)

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit set me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8v1&2 (NIV)

“So not there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to Him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.” Romans 8v1&2 (NLT)

“THEREFORE, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8v1&2 (AMP)

The devil is called the accuser of the brethren (Revelations 12v10). To accuse means to charge with fault, offense or crime, to blame (www.dictionary.com). However, while the devil accuses, God is saying for those who are in Christ Jesus, there is no condemnation for us anymore. Why? God, the ultimate Judge, is the One who justifies us, and He has the final say. Furthermore, who will come and condemn us when Jesus is actually interceding on our behalf? Praise the Lord.

Supplementary Texts
“Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” Romans 8v33&34

“Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect [when it is] God Who justifies [that is, Who puts us in right relation to Himself? Who shall come forward and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God, Who acquits us?] Who is there to condemn [us]? Will Christ Jesus (the Messiah), Who died, or rather Who was raised from the dead, Who is at the right hand of God actually pleading as He intercedes for us?” Romans 8v33&34 (AMP)

“Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for His own? No one – for God Himself has given us right standing with Himself. Who then will condemn us? No one – for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and He is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.” Romans 8v33&34 (NLT)

Prayer
Father, thank You for putting us in right standing with You, and thank You Jesus for interceding for us. How we love You Lord in Jesus name, amen.
