Thanks be to the Father!

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God. There are so many many many things we can thank God for…

Primary Text: Colossians 1v12
“Giving thanks unto the Father, ….” Colossians 1v12 (KJV)

We thank Him for the great plan of salvation, sending His only begotten Son to die for us on the cross of Calvary, and for the Spirit of God being with us so that we are not orphans. How awesome He is, how great and greatly to be praised. For the breath of life, for His goodness, for translating us from the kingdom of darkness into that of His dear Son, for making us heirs of salvation, for calling us His own, for all His benefits, for His eyes that are upon us and His ears that are attentive to our cry, we thank Him. For being close to us when we are broken hearted, for the wonderful plans He has for us, for being a good God, for loving us and rejoicing over us with singing, for answering our prayers, we thank Him. For the glorious future He has in store for us, we give Him all the glory in Jesus name, amen.

Supplementary Text:
“Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;” Ephesians 5v20

“We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,” Colossians 1v3

“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.” Colossians 3v17

“BLESS (AFFECTIONATELY, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name! Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits – Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases, Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy; Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]!” Psalm 103v1-5 (AMP)

“Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are His: And He changeth the times and the seasons: He removeth kings, and setteth up kings: He giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding. He revealeth the deep and secret things: He knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with Him. I thank Thee, and praise Thee, O Thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of Thee: for Thou hast now made known unto us the king’s matter.” Daniel 2v20-23
