And be ye thankful!

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text: Colossians 3v15
“And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful.” Colossians 3v15 (AMP)

Thankfulness – showing gratitude, being appreciative… Thank You Lord for this day, thank You for a great night’s rest, thank You for peace of mind, thank You for food to eat, thank You for answered prayers, thank You for a future and a hope, thank You for Your plans for my life, thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross for me, thank You for adopting me into Your family, thank You for sealing me with Your Holy Spirit, and giving Your Spirit to be with me and in me, thank You for Your love for me, thank You for Your kindness, thank You for Your joy, thank You, thank You, thank You, blessed be Your holy name for evermore. The Bible tells us that: “Through Him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.” Hebrews 13v15 (AMP). God is worthy of our praise, adoration and thanks. Thankfulness is something we ought to do continually – offering it unto the Lord and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Offering it unto God. Thanks be to God! Glory be to God! Thank You Jesus! Thank You precious Holy Spirit of God! God is worthy and awesome, faithful and true. Ephesians 5v20 says: “At all times and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.” (Ephesians 5v20, AMP). The will of God for us, as revealed and mediated in Jesus is that we, who are in Christ Jesus, be thankful.

Supplementary Text:
Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks] for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will].” 1 Thessalonians 5v18 (AMP)

Prayer
… let’s give thanks to God!
