Come…

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text
“Since you have [already] tasted the goodness and kindness of the Lord. Come to Him {then, to that]…” 1 Peter 2v4-5 (AMP)

We know that God is good. We have tasted His goodness and His kindness. Let us continue to come. Let us not let ANYTHING keep us away from our Maker, and our Lord. He loves us so much. Romans 8v34-35, 37 (NLT) says “Who then will condemn us? No one – for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and He is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us. Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean He no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?… No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.” Now, when we ourselves are facing issues, we may feel bad, down, condemned, guilty, angry… but don’t let anything keep you away from the Lord. Hebrews 2v17-18 (NLT) says “Therefore, it was necessary for Him to be made like us, His brothers and sisters, so that He could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God. The He could offer a sacrifice that would take away the sins of the people. Since He himself has gone through suffering and testing, He is able to help us when we are being tested.” Come to Jesus. He understands and He cares!!! And if you are a child of God, He is even now interceding for you!!!

Supplementary Text
“For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning. Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it.” Hebrews 4v15-16 (AMP)

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You so much for today. Thank You Jesus for You understand my weaknesses, my infirmities, my shortcomings. Father, I draw near to the throne of grace today to ask for help in […ask for help where you need it] in Jesus name, amen.
