From Darkness to Light!

Hello everyone, How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Primary Text “… who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” 1 Peter 2v9 (KJV) So on the one hand, God can enlighten our darkness (Psalm 18v28); His Word being a lamp unto our feet and a light unto a path (Psalm 119v105). But the wonderful thing is that He has actually translated us out of darkness into His marvelous light. He has taken us from the state of confusion, death, desperation, depression, mire, sin, that we were in, and brought us into His marvelous light. How glorious! In the dark, we can hardly see, it can be lonely, somewhere one gets lost. But God has brought us into His light. 2 Corinthians 4v4 (AMP) tells us “For the god of this world has blinded the unbeliever’s minds [that they should not discern the truth], preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ (the Messiah), Who is the Image and Likeness of God.” And so you may talk to people, friends, colleagues, but they just do not see or accept God the way you do. Thank God we have been brought into the light. Ephesians 2v5-6 (KJV) says “Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” Hallelujah. Supplementary Text “There it was -- the true Light [was then] coming into the world [the genuine, perfect, steadfast Light] that illumines every person.” John 1v9 (AMP) Father, we thank You for Your Word this day. We thank You for translating us from darkness into Your marvelous light. Father we know that You do not want any to perish but all to come to repentance. We pray for those whose eyes are still blinded, that You will send labourers to them, for the harvest indeed is plenteous, but the labourers are few, in Jesus name, amen. www.beeencouraged.blogspot.com
